Over the last several months, our Hoosiers For Good athletes have appeared at many charity partner events with the goal of raising awareness for the work our partners do in our communities.
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY WOMEN+ BUILD: CAMRYN HAWORTH & JORDYN LEVY
Camryn Haworth, volleyball player, and Jordyn Levy, women’s soccer player, helped as builders at Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County’s Women+ Build. Over 12 days, volunteers built two homes to further Habitat for Humanity’s mission to eliminate poverty housing by building decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families.
BIG Brothers big sisters of south central indiana: malik reneau & Jalen hood-schifino
IU men’s basketball players Malik Reneau and Jalen Hood-Schifino spoke at Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Give Big For Kids’ Sake event. Malik and Jalen shared their stories on how mentorship has impacted their own lives and the importance of having leaders to look up to.

Boys & Girls CLubs of Bloomington: Anne Fowler, tiawan mullen & Dj matthews
Anne Fowler, women’s diver, and Tiawan Mullen & DJ Matthews, football players, spent afternoons hanging out with the kids at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington. They participated in fun activities with the kids attending club hours, encouraging them to stay active and supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington’s mission to provide a safe, affordable place for kids after school.
CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY: Kaleb Banks & Logan Duncomb
IU men’s basketball players Kaleb Banks and Logan Duncomb joined Cancer Support Community at their annual Hoosiers Outrun Cancer 5K event. Hoosiers Outrun Cancer is an event to celebrate people who have faced cancer in our community and raise money to provide free cancer support services to anyone impacted by cancer. Kaleb and Logan took photos and signed autographs with participants, and joined them during the 5K itself.
